Teen Found Fatally Shot in Fort Worth Car, Police Say

A teenager was found shot to death inside a crashed car in Fort Worth Friday.Police were called to the 2500 block of Northeast 28th Street in response to a car accident. The victim was found dead from a gunshot wound to his upper body, according to Fort Worth police.Three other people were in the car before the crash, but police said they ran away from the car.The victim was identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner as 18-year-old Amir Ruvalcaba. The medical examiner contradicted the location of the crash, and said Ruvalcaba died on Warfield Avenue, which is near Northeast 28th Street.He was pronounced dead just before 5:30 p.m., according to the medical examiner.Homicide detectives are investigating Ruvalcaba's death.  Continue reading...
