Ted Cruz and Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez May Be Teaming Up Again — on Access to Birth Control

WASHINGTON -- Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz wants to team up with Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez again -- this time to provide accessible birth control.In response to the New York freshman representative’s tweet calling on birth control to be available over-the-counter, Cruz wrote on Twitter Wednesday afternoon, “I agree. Perhaps, in addition to the legislation we are already working on together to ban Members of Congress from becoming lobbyists, we can team up here as well.
