TCU Fraternity Suspended Amid Hazing Allegations

A Texas Christian University fraternity has been suspended by its national organization amid allegations of hazing. Members of the Epsilon Beta chapter of Delta Tau Delta were notified of the suspension Dec. 3. The reported incidents occurred in the fall semester, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Additional details were not released.Jim Russell, executive vice president of the fraternity's national chapter, said in a written statement obtained by the Star-Telegram that the suspension was a "painful but necessary action." "This chapter, including its leadership, willfully violated not only the Fraternity's risk management policy but also our stated values," he said. "Hazing is an aberration to those values.
