T-Mobile Is Growing Its Frisco Regional HQ With Plans for 350 Hires

Telcom firm T-Mobile is growing its Frisco regional headquarters with plans for 350 more workers.The cell phone service provider is renting an additional 27,236 square feet of office space in its building near the Dallas North Tollway to accommodate the increase in employment.T-Mobile leased more than 100,000 square feet in the Duke Bridges II building starting in 2005.The high-tech firm previously had an office in Carrollton.The expanded office is located just east of the Dallas Cowboy's new Star development on Warren Parkway.About 750 people currently work in T-Mobile's Frisco office."After going through a structured process of considering and evaluating numerous options for T-Mobile, we are delighted that we were able to structure an expansion and long-term renewal of their existing Frisco facility," Jeff Ellerman, Vice Chairman with CBRE in Dallas, said in a statement.Ellerman and CBRE's Scott Hobbs negotiated the new lease with Kurt Cherry and Shea Byers with PM Realty Group.The building is owned by Griffin Capital, a real estate investment trust.  Continue reading...
