A suspected drunken driver was arrested overnight after playing chicken with oncoming traffic and leading Dallas officers on a chase, police said. The police helicopter joined patrol vehicles in the pursuit of the driver about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday. At certain points, the suspect allegedly drove straight at vehicles in oncoming lanes before being apprehended in South Dallas near downtown.
