Suspected Austin Bomber's Roommate Still Being Questioned, Congressman Says

AUSTIN — Authorities are still questioning one of the suspected Austin bomber’s roommates about the explosives, a Texas congressman said Monday.Rep. Michael McCaul, a Republican whose district includes Austin, told Fox News that one of Mark Conditt’s two roommates in Pflugerville is still being questioned by authorities about the bombs. Because police said Conditt kept explosive material and built the bombs in their shared home, McCaul said he found it difficult to imagine the roommates knew nothing.“We know they had to bring in robot to dismantle and take out bomb-making materials,” McCaul said. “The question is, did the roommate know he was making these bombs at the time for the last month when all these bombings were taking place?"  Continue reading...
