Suspect Who Lunged for Machete During North Richland Hills Traffic Stop ID’d as 22-year-old

A driver that a North Richland Hills officer fired at when he lunged for a machete earlier this month has been identified as a 22-year-old Arlington man, The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. The suspect, Juan Gonzalez, reached behind the passenger seat while lunging toward the officer, identified as 19-year department veteran Filipe Carmichael, The Star-Telegram reports.  Continue reading...
