Suspect Shoots Himself in Leg After Attempted Burglary at Fort Worth Home

A suspect shot himself in the leg after he attempted to burglarize a vehicle and ran from a Fort Worth home, police said.Three male suspects broke into a pickup truck in a driveway about 2:30 a.m. in the 5300 block of Westhaven Drive when the homeowner came outside and startled the suspects, police said. As the suspects fled on foot, one suspect shot a handgun into his thigh.Police arrested the suspects and applied a tourniquet to the injured suspect, who was hospitalized in stable condition.  Continue reading...
