Suspect in Fatal Austin Stabbing May Be in Dallas-Fort Worth

Authorities say that a man sought in a fatal Austin stabbing is on the run and could be in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.Travis County sheriff's deputies were called to the scene of a stabbing at a house under construction in east Austin around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday.The victim, 25-year-old Jorge Luis Flores, died about 20 minutes later. He had been stabbed at least seven times, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit obtained by the Austin American-Statesman, with one wound so severe that his intestines were visible.Witnesses told authorities that Flores was drinking beer with several other people when he and 31-year-old Adan Torres got into an argument, then started to fight.  Continue reading...
