Suspect in Deadly Plano Shooting Tied to 2 Dead Men in Arlington, Police Say

An 18-year-old man arrested in a deadly shooting at a Plano apartment complex Thursday morning has also been connected to two men found slain in Arlington, police said Friday.Investigators believe Franklin Lee Barnes committed the two killings there before driving to Plano and shooting four people, one of them fatally at the Cross Creek Apartments, Arlington police spokesman Christopher Cook said Friday.Joshua Daniels and Winston Davis, both 25-year-olds, were found shot to death Thursday morning in a car parked in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 1200 E. Lamar Street, authorities say.Cook said police believe Daniels and Davis knew Barnes and that they were targeted, just as Plano police said they believe the victims in their city were targeted.  Continue reading...
