A suspect was found hiding in bushes after crashing a possible stolen car into a train during a pursuit from late Tuesday night, authorities said. Garland police were chasing the suspect, who drove into Dallas and barreled through a railroad crossing before striking a freight train traveling by Santa Anna Avenue about 9:45 p.m. The suspect fled on foot over the tracks, across Garland Road and into a residential neighborhood. Dallas police assisted in setting up a perimeter and a Department of Public Safety helicopter search overhead. They found the suspect in some bushes and took him into custody.
