Suspect Fleeing Failed Vehicle Break-in Crashes Near Lakewood, Police Say

A suspect who attempted a vehicle break-in crashed into several parked vehicles near Lakewood late Tuesday night, police said. Officers responded to the 2000 block of Kidwell Street, near Gaston Avenue and La Vista Drive in Old East Dallas, about 10:40 p.m. They later learned that the suspect vehicle had been involved in a failed vehicle break-in, police said.
