A person got out of a vehicle during a traffic stop in Arlington and tried to run away from police Thursday afternoon. Officers detained the person about 9:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of East Sublett Road. They ran the plates of the vehicle, which was listed as stolen. They also found at least one weapon inside.
