Suspect Arrested in Death of 45-year-old Woman Found Slain in Her Oak Cliff Home

Police have arrested a suspect after a 45-year-old woman was found slain in her southeast Oak Cliff home late Sunday. Victor Williams, 49, was arrested Thursday and booked early Friday on a murder charge in the death of Sheila Prater, police records show.Prater, 45, was found Sunday night dead "from homicidal violence" at her home in the 3400 block of Keyridge Drive, near College Park. The mother of two and grandmother of five was discovered by her son, Travonte Prater."From the moment I pulled up, I was on the phone with dispatch," he told KDFW-TV (Fox 4).
