‘Struggle Does Not Defeat You': How Music Helped Save This Young Arlington Composer’s Life

Kevin Day is playing the Steinway in room 132 at Texas Christian University. His eyes are closed and he’s swaying. The music reminds him of the worst time of his life. At this same piano three years ago, he first played the chords that helped him find his way back.Kevin is a 23-year-old composer and multi-instrumentalist from Arlington who has earned considerable success.
