Strong Cold Front Will Send Dallas-Fort Worth Temperatures ‘tumbling Quickly’ Into the 20s and 30s

High temperatures in Dallas-Fort Worth are expected to reach the mid- to upper 70s on Wednesday, but a strong cold front overnight will lead to a much chillier end of the week.Thursday is expected to start mild, with morning temperatures in the 60s, but “temperatures will be tumbling quickly into the 40s by midday,” KXAS-TV (NBC5) meteorologist Grant Johnston said. Some showers and thunderstorms could pop up along the front Wednesday night into Thursday morning.“We’ll have a line of showers and most likely non-severe thunderstorms,” Johnston said, adding that any thunderstorms would be expected to arrive around 3 or 4 a.m. and clear out before sunrise.  Continue reading...
