Strangers Save the Day After Wedding Dress Flies Out of Truck Bed on Texas Highway

Newlyweds driving Wednesday from Oklahoma to California almost lost a wedding keepsake when the bride's dress flew out their truck bed.Merissa and Ben McNeal were taking a few items back to San Diego after visiting family in Oklahoma for the holidays. The cab was packed, so the dress, which was in a box, had to go in the truck bed, KOCO-TV reported. When they stopped in Groom, Texas, for gas, Merissa McNeal noticed the dress was gone. Her mother-in-law pleaded for help on Facebook in a post that was shared more than 1,000 times. The Texas Department of Transportation also joined in the search and shared a photo of the dress on its social media."In the spirit of the season, if you see this dress let us know so we can get it back to the happy couple!" the TxDOT Facebook post read.   Continue reading...
