Storms Will Close Out Soggy February With Heavy Rain, Strong Wind and Hail

Dallas-Fort Worth's wet winter will continue Wednesday evening as a line of thunderstorms — some of which may be severe — rolls in.The storms, which follow a day of scattered showers, will reach the western portions of the region around 8 p.m., KXAS-TV (NBC5) meteorologist Rick Mitchell said. By 10 p.m., strong storms will stretch across Tarrant and Dallas counties and to the northeast.Large hail, heavy rain and strong winds are the main threats Wednesday night, Mitchell said, adding that tornadoes are possibly but not likely.  Continue reading...
