Step Aside, Cajun Navy — Jersey Shore Provides Its Own Hurricane Harvey Heroes

Move over, Cajun Navy. Yankees from the Jersey Shore are right there with you giving you a run for your money when it comes to heroics in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.You likely remember the dramatic photos of the volunteer armada of good Samaritans from Louisiana admirably driving through torrential rains to save scores of stranded people in southeast Texas.Born out of Hurricane Katrina's devastation in southern Louisiana, the Cajun Navy operates like so: "Everybody out here with a boat that isn't devastated gets out and helps others."Now we learn, courtesy of the Asbury (N.J.)
