Stein Mart Stores in Texas Are Getting Amazon Lockers

Kohl's isn't the only department store that Amazon is tapping to help it become more convenient for its online customers.Stein Mart said Tuesday that it is allowing Amazon to install the online giant's Hub Lockers in 200 of its stores. The Amazon self-service kiosks handle both package pickups and returns.The Florida-based off-price retailer of apparel and home goods said 27 of its 41 stores in Texas are getting the lockers and most are already installed and operating.Stein Mart stores in Dallas on E. Mockingbird Lane and Preston Road both already have the lockers. The other North Texas stores are in Arlington, Flower Mound, Fort Worth, Hurst, Irving, Plano and Rockwall.Hunt Hawkins, Stein Mart CEO, said he believes the lockers will introduce new customers to its stores which are located in neighborhood shopping centers.  Continue reading...
