Stanford Band Punctures One Sacred Cow Too Many in Halftime Whataburger Diss

You can make fun of Texas state pride, of queso or the fact that we're only one "Lone" star -- but for the love of all that's holy, lay off Whataburger.That's the lesson learned by the Stanford University marching band as boos rained down upon it over its satirical dig at the state fast-food icon during halftime of the Valero Alamo Bowl on Thursday.In a routine titled, "Texas: Too Big To Fail?" the band celebrated several "fun facts" about the state, including "Texas has nothing unique about it. Everything is super normal here!" one announcer intoned."Yep," another replied.
