Southlake Parks and Rec Board Member Arrested on Child Sex Assault Charge

A volunteer member of the Southlake Parks and Recreation Board is accused of sexually assaulting a child younger than 14.On Monday, Southlake police arrested 41-year-old Miguel Salinas on a charge of continuous sexual assault of a child younger than 14.Police did not release any details about the specific accusations against Salinas, but said they didn't have any prior reports of alleged misconduct against him other than the report that led to his arrest.He remained in a holding facility in Keller Monday afternoon, with bail set at $100,000.Salinas' LinkedIn profile says he is a project manager at a company named Big Sky Construction. He's been on the parks and recreation board as a volunteer member since July 2015. His term ends in the summer of 2019.Police said they notified the mayor and city council members of Salinas' arrest.
