A South Texas teacher will be disciplined for reportedly using a marker to draw on the head of a student whose haircut the instructor felt did not meet dress code.The incident took place at Berry Miller Junior High in Pearland, in Brazoria County, Houston's KTRK-TV reported. Pearland is about a half-hour south of Houston.According to the news station, the teacher told the student he would face punishment unless he let the teacher fill in the boy's hair carving with a marker.In a statement, Pearland ISD officials said the district did not condone the teacher's actions, which they said were not consistent with appropriate measures for dress-code violations.
