Some Dallas Mayoral Candidates Upset That a Mike Ablon Consultant Listened in on Police, Fire Association Interviews

Dallas mayoral candidates want to get on the good side of the city’s public safety workers.So when the Dallas Police Association and Dallas Fire Fighters Association held joint candidate interviews on Wednesday, all nine candidates showed up and sat through 30- to 45-minute interviews in hopes they could gain the groups' influential endorsement.But some of the candidates are calling shenanigans on that process.That is because one of the dozen or so people in the room was Andrea Coker, a communications consultant with the Mayes Media Group — which is running communications and strategy for one of the mayoral candidates, Mike Ablon.  Continue reading...
