Social Media Threat Against The Colony High School Forces Students to Remain in Classrooms

Students at The Colony High School were being held in their first-period classrooms Tuesday as police investigated a threat made against the campus on social media.Several people reported the threat, which concerned a student at the school and included a map of the campus, police said. The Colony Police Department is working to clear the campus and will investigate the threat alongside the Lewisville Independent School District."Please know, we take any threat against our campus seriously, and this situation will be thoroughly investigated," principal Tim Baxter wrote in a message to parents.
