Snow, Sleet Possible in Dallas Area After Cold Front Ushers Out Record-high Temperatures

The Dallas-Fort Worth area could see the season's first snow Tuesday night or early Wednesday, meteorologists say.Forecasters also said sleet was a possibility just a day after a record-high temperature of 84 degrees was recorded at DFW International Airport. Monday's record topped the previous high of 83 degrees, set in 1977.Bianca Villanueva, a National Weather Service meteorologist, said a cold front that sent the temperature plummeting 30 degrees Monday night "will bring us slightly below normal" with highs in the 50s.
