Snow Flurries Fall Before Dallas Fort Worth's First Freeze of the Season

Many residents spotted snow flurries falling in the area Thursday morning a few hours before the first freeze of the season is expected. But don't get too excited -- meteorologists say the ground is too warm for snow to stick. A strong cold front that moved into the area a few days ago brings temperatures that will top the lower 40s Thursday and stay below freezing overnight into Friday morning, said meteorologist Lee Carlaw of the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.   Continue reading...
