Small Stretch of East Oak Cliff Hit With 3 Home-invasion Robberies in 90 Minutes

Dallas police are investigating three home-invasion robberies that spanned just an hour and a half Monday morning across a 2-mile stretch of east Oak Cliff.There are no definitive links between the incidents, police say, and no indications that any of them is connected to the slaying Tuesday of a Red Bird woman whose toddler was in the home at the time.In the first robbery, a juvenile was home alone in the 2900 block of Britton Avenue, near East Saner Avenue, around 6:45 a.m. when a man broke in through the front door. He demanded property from the juvenile at gunpoint.The robber was described as a Hispanic man age 20 to 25, about 5-5 with a skinny build. He was bald and had a tattoo, possibly of lips, on his neck.
