Sleet Reported Around Dallas Area as Cold, Windy Weather Moves in

Some parts of the Dallas-Fort Worth area were seeing sleet Friday afternoon as colder weather moved into North Texas.Sleet was reported from Abilene to Denison, according to KXAS-TV (NBC5). Locally, residents in Dallas, Fort Worth, Garland and Irving were among those dealing with icy pellets falling from the sky.Afternoon temperatures around the region were 20 to 40 degrees cooler than they were at the same time Thursday, leading some people to wonder on social media whether the weather had had a little too much to drink.  Continue reading...
