Silver Alert Issued for 73-year-old Man Last Seen Saturday in Mesquite

A Silver Alert has been issued for a 73-year-old Mesquite man with Alzheimer's last seen Saturday. Bobby Joe Loyd was seen about 2 p.m. Saturday driving a 2008 maroon Chevrolet Silverado in the 1300 block of Develon drive Mesquite. The four-door truck has Texas license plate CHH 7599 and running boards.Loyd is described as a 5-10 black man who weighs 170 pounds. He is bald and has a full beard. Lord was wearing a black baseball cap, black and white striped dress shirt and blue jeans.Law enforcement believe Loyd's disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Mesquite police at 972-216-6759.  Continue reading...
