Shooting Victim's Body Found Behind Fort Worth Elementary School

Police are investigating after a shooting victim's body was found near an elementary school in southern Fort Worth on Thursday morning.A shooting was reported just after 11:30 a.m. near Hazel Harvey Peace Elementary School in the 7500 block of Trail Lake Drive, near Sycamore School Road.A body was found in a field near a playground behind the school, and police said the victim appeared to have been shot.No further details were immediately available.
