Shelters Prepare to Take in Dallas' Homeless as Arctic Front Moves in

The city's homeless shelters are bracing for a larger than usual crowd this weekend with temperatures expected to drop below freezing. An arctic front may bring some freezing rain and even snow into parts of the Dallas-Fort Worth, according to the National Weather Service. The threat of freezing drizzle dropped Saturday but grows through midday Sunday, when ice could accumulate on elevated surfaces.And New Year's Day will bring bitter cold, with wind chills in the teens and a high of just 30.  Continue reading...
