Sewell Mini of Plano Will Close Its Doors Saturday

Sewell Mini of Plano will be closing its doors after Saturday, according to a spokesperson for Sewell.The dealership said it was actively working with Mini USA to transfer ownership of the franchise to another dealer. The Plano dealership is one of three Mini locations in North Texas.Of the 219,263 vehicles sold in Dallas and Collin counties in 2018, only 648 were Mini Coopers, according to the Freeman Auto Report.The Dallas-based luxury group renovated a former Saab store along the Dallas North Tollway in Plano to house its Mini location during the company's rapid expansion in 2010.Sewell Automotive Co., renowned for its emphasis on customer service, employs thousands of workers across its 17 dealerships in Texas.  Continue reading...
