Several Vehicles Hit, Kill Pedestrian Trying to Cross U.S. 287 in Southeast Fort Worth

A pedestrian trying to cross U.S. Highway 287 was struck by several vehicles and died Monday night in Fort Worth, police said.The unidentified victim was hit around 10:40 p.m. on the highway near Miller Avenue, police said. Police believe as many as five vehicles struck the victim, who died at the scene.The victim's name has not been released. The driver who initially hit the victim remained at the scene and is not expected to face charges, police said.  Continue reading...
