See Which Dallas City Council Candidates Have Money, Which Don't in Final Stretch

For every $1 that council member Carolyn King Arnold has spent in her re-election bid, her challenger, former City Council member Dwaine Caraway, has spent more than $14.That's according to the latest campaign finance reports filed Friday. The reports show that Caraway is one of three challengers who are so far outspending incumbents with days left before the May 6 election.Former City Council member Tennell Atkins had also spent nearly twice what Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Erik Wilson had in their showdown for a southeastern Dallas seat. And East Dallas lawyer Matt Wood has outspent incumbent Philip Kingston by more than $16,000 in a close-watched, hard-fought race.Kingston, however, raised the most money in the latest fundraising reports, which cover a period of March 28 through April 26. The campaigns only have a few days left to get their message and their voters to turn out.
