The head of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Fort Worth office has resigned, effective today.Shamoil Shipchandler, who became regional director in August 2015 and raised the office's profile with a series of cases targeting cryptocurrency and oil and gas investing scams, confirmed his departure.
