Sean Hannity Lumps John Cornyn in With ‘Never Trump' Camp Despite Texan's Senate Voting Record

WASHINGTON -- Fox News host Sean Hannity -- an influential President Donald Trump ally -- is lumping Texas Sen. John Cornyn into a group of lawmakers he said is blocking the commander-in-chief’s agenda.Nevermind that Cornyn -- the Senate's No. 2 Republican -- has one of the highest pro-Trump voting records in the Senate, a ranking an aide noted on Wednesday. According to FiveThirtyEight, the Texan has sided with the president more than 96 percent of the time, even more than Sen. Ted Cruz, whose record is 94 percent.On Tuesday, Hannity blasted outgoing Republican Sens. Bob Corker, of Tennessee, and Jeff Flake, of Arizona, for railing against the president in a series of interviews and on the Senate floor. He also took aim at Arizona Sen. John McCain, a Republican who has become increasingly vocal in his criticism of Trump.The men are “inept, they're ineffective, they have completely failed to deliver on the promises” they made to constituents, Hannity said, then listing a number of other GOP senators he’d like to see gone.“I have a suggestion for all you never-Trumper senators that are headed for the exits,” Hannity said. “...Take your other colleagues with you.
