Scattered Storms Roll in to Spur Wet Weekend

Scattered showers and storms will move into the Dallas-Fort Worth area Friday afternoon to begin a wet weekend. The scattered storms precede a line of storms that will hit Saturday night which will have a potential for severe weather like high winds and hail. Chances for rain in the area will increase about 1 p.m. according to the National Weather Service.Dallas has a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms during the day with wind speeds between 10 and 15 mph. Rain is likely to start in Dallas at 1 p.m. and last until 3 p.m.In the evening, Dallas has a 40 percent chance of storms until 11 p.m.   Continue reading...
