Scaffolding Collapse Injures Woman, Leaves Worker Hanging in Midair in Downtown Fort Worth

Collapsed scaffolding injured a woman in downtown Fort Worth Wednesday and left a construction worker hanging perilously from the sixth story of a building.Authorities responded to an injured person call about 12:36 p.m. in the 200 block of Main Street, Fort Worth Police spokesman Brad Perez said.Authorities said scaffolding, including an exterior construction elevator, running from behind the Worthington Renaissance Hotel to the front of Uno Pizzeria on Houston Street collapsed, sending debris falling onto the busy pedestrian area below.
