Richardson Man Goes on Trial, Accused of Killing Girlfriend and Dumping Body in Farmersville

MCKINNEY -- Collin County prosecutors can't say how or why Jessie Bardwell died last year. But one thing they do believe is that her boyfriend killed her.Jason Lowe, 28, of Richardson is on trial this week accused of murdering Bardwell, 27. Her decomposed body was found wrapped in a blue fitted sheet in rural Farmersville on May 19, 2016."He killed her. He concealed her. And he dumped her," prosecutor Wes Wynne said in opening statements Wednesday.Wynne said Lowe seemed like a great guy with a great job.
