Reward Offered in April Disappearance of Mesquite Mom Who Never Picked Up Her Child

Updated at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday: Revised to include a reward.Mesquite police are asking for the public's help finding a woman who has been missing for more than a month after she did not pick her child up after work. Prisma Denisse Peralta Reyes, 26, was reported missing about 9:30 p.m. April 17, two hours after the usual time she would pick up her child from the baby sitter, police said. Relatives have been caring for her child.Reyes has not responded to calls from family, friends and police, and her 2017 Jeep Wrangler was found about 7:45 a.m. April 18 in the 3500 block of Roseland Avenue, near North Hall Street, in Old East Dallas, police said. The next day, police released a surveillance video of Reyes from a parking garage at an apartment complex on Roseland. She's talking to someone on the phone, and police say they've spoken to that person.Reyes is 5-foot-2 and weighs about 135 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red polo shirt and blue jeans. Police announced Tuesday that a reward of $2,500 is being offered for information that helps solve Reyes' disappearance.
