We’ve been worrying too much about political division, America. Turns out our representatives in Washington can bury the hatchet and get along — so long as that hatchet is buried deeply in the back of the nation’s financial future.Somewhere amid the endless coverage of who tweeted what nonsense this week, you may find a story that says Congress and the president have agreed on a budget with extraordinary bipartisan cooperation.This will spare us the semi-regular event of a partial government shutdown and the prospect of economic calamity in the short run.
