Report: Former Trump Campaign Manager Manafort Told to Surrender to Federal Authorities

This is a developing story and will be updated as more details become available.Paul Manafort and former business associate Rick Gates were told Monday to surrender to federal authorities, The New York Times reports.Citing a person involved in the case, The Times reports that the charges against Manafort and Gates were not immediately known but stem from a special counsel investigation, that according to The Times' report, has "cast a shadow over President Donald Trump's first year in office.The Times' report says Manafort had been under investigation for had been under investigation for violations of federal tax law, money laundering and whether he appropriately disclosed his foreign lobbying.  Continue reading...
