A bank robbery suspect was quickly apprehended in Wylie as she tried to escape the scene Friday afternoon.The incident took place around 4:15 p.m., when police say a woman entered the Bank of America in the 1300 block of West FM 544 and displayed a note demanding an undisclosed amount of money.Employees quickly notified law enforcement and moved customers to a safe location as the woman left the building.Responding officers located the suspect in a nearby area as she tried to flee on foot.
