Questions of Race Linger on Divided DeSoto School Board

DESOTO — The DeSoto school board had hoped its decision to retain head DeSoto High School football coach Todd Peterman would help the community heal after a two-week controversy erupted over the situation.Whether the board can heal itself is an open question as it struggles to find unanimity on several issues, from food service to teacher contracts. Some members aren't so sure.
