Prosper Mayor Challenges Residents to 100-mile Exercise Challenge

Prosper Mayor Ray Smith is challenging residents to exercise regularly by participating in the 2019 Prosper 100 Mile Challenge.From Friday though June 1, residents of all ages can record their progress towards 100 miles by keeping track of their walking, running or cycling on an official tracking sheet. People who complete the challenge will be invited to a Town Council meeting to be recognized and will be entered in a drawing for a Fitbit watch. Smith, who is taking part in the event, encourages all members of the community to participate. "The Prosper 100 Mile Challenge is a tremendous community opportunity to get active early in the year," he said in a news release. "So join me in this challenge, as there's nothing more important than your health." Registration and tracking sheets are available at prospertx.gov or Prosper Town Hall, 200 S.
