Printing Money: Old Press Helps McKinney Buddies Become ‘Blue Collar Millionaires'

Buddies Andrew "Dru" Riess and Ray Salinas came to north Texas 10 years ago from Colorado, hoping to turn something little into something big. About $100 million worth of big. As minority owners of McKinney-based Popular Ink, which prints packaging for food makers, the two are about a third of the way to the goal line. Their success -- including sales of about $33 million over the past 12 months -- attracted the attention of the producers of the popular CNBC show "Blue Collar Millionaires."
