Pool Toys, Cardboard and Bags of Mulch: How North Texans Are Protecting Their Vehicles From Hail

Some North Texans got creative when it came to protecting their property from expected hail. With baseball-sized hail in the forecast for Wednesday evening, some Collin County residents dug through the garage to find whatever they could to protect windshields and car hoods. Jessica Pennell, of Anna, saw news online of the incoming storms and rushed home to make sure the Jeep Grand Cherokee in her driveway was secure.
