Police Seek Driver of Vehicle That Sped Toward Officers at Dallas Crime Scene Overnight

Police are seeking the driver of a vehicle they say sped toward officers securing an overnight crime scene in Dallas' Wynnewood North area, prompting one of the officers to discharge his weapon.The incident took place about 12:49 a.m. in the 2500 block of Vernon Avenue, where two uniformed officers with a marked squad car were securing the scene after a previous incident.The vehicle approached and accelerated toward one of the officers, and one officer discharged his weapon.The suspect vehicle fled the location and has not been located.
