Police Rescue 15-year-old From Forced Prostitution in Irving After Tip From Her Mother

Irving police arrested two people last week who they say forced a 15-year-old girl to work as a prostitute. Dominique Deandrae Parks, 29, and Destiny Hansford, 20, each face one count of trafficking a child and one count compelling prostitution. Parks also is charged with one count of sexual assault of a child and one count promotion of child pornography.The girl had last been seen by her mother on April 19. On Thursday, the mother — who was monitoring the teen's email account — reported to police that the girl's email address had been accessed in Irving and used to open an online account to solicit sex.Officers were able to determine the girl's location and rescue her, police said in a news release.Parks and Hansford are accused of using various websites to advertise sexual services from the girl while moving her to different motel rooms, police said. Hansford was being held in the Dallas County jail Tuesday afternoon, with bail set at $60,000. Parker remained in the Irving jail, with bail of $275,560.  Continue reading...
